YOUNG entrepreneurs are encouraged to attend a Rockstar Youth event which is taking place at Trafford College on March 2.
The £112million Government start-up loan initiative – which aims to provide 18-30's with viable business ideas, funding and free business support – has now reached 1000 application approvals.
Rockstar Youth offer an unsecured loan of up to £10,000 and business mentoring for young people with a viable business idea.
Mentoring is delivered by experienced entrepreneurs including Rockstar chairman Oliver Rothschild, internet guru Ian Lancaster and travel/retail mogul Clive Jacobs. Rockstar Youth mentors have scaled and sold their companies for an average of £18million.
David Cameron has called the scheme 'absolutely vital for the future of our country', tackling youth unemployment, facilitating enterprise across the UK and stimulating growth.
