A TIMPERLEY resident and managing director of a holiday home park, recently presented a charity cheque to actress Sue Jenkins at a Trafford event.

Dean Styger, MD of Plas Coch Holiday Home Park on Anglesey, handed over a cheque for more than £2,800 to the former Brookside star, in support of the Teenage Cancer Trust, at the recent Caravan and Leisure Show at Event City, Trafford Park.

Dean said: “For the past 18 months, our holiday home owners, our staff and suppliers have joined in our efforts and they also had their own ways to raise money for this fantastic charity.

“From ‘bake offs’ to marathons, from casino nights to children’s events, everyone has had their own story to tell as to why they have wanted to support.

“We especially invited Sue to accept the cheque on behalf of the charity as she has been a past supporter of the charity.”
