Volunteers are needed to help on a series of woodland management events - clearing shrubs and brambles, removing rhododendron, and felling small trees.
RED Rose Forest is working with Trafford Partnership to improve Firs Plantation in Sale.
Volunteers are needed to help on a series of woodland management events - clearing shrubs and brambles, removing rhododendron, and felling small trees.
The work will take place between 10am to 3.30pm on February 26, 27 and 28 and March 6 and 7.
All equipment will be provided but volunteers need to wear suitable outdoor work clothes and sturdy boots.
Hot and cold drinks provided, bring your own lunch.
