THE popular story telling group, Success Stories at Work, will present a Valentine themed evening, Straight from the Heart, on Monday, February 25.
Florence Li, the proprietor of Serendipitea and Coffee a new independently run coffee shop at 117 Washway Road, between John Rose music and Allen’s Fried Chicken, is opening up especially for them, a week before the official opening on March 4.
She will cook a hotpot supper and visitors can bring their own wine. Organiser of the storytelling group, Sharon Richards, said: “It will be an evening of heart-warming tales and live music for the romantically inclined. People can come along just to listen or tell romantic poems and tales themselves. We are excited about our new venue.”
