Altrincham exhibition boosts the Christie

AN EXHIBITION in Altrincham featuring the work of two talented photographers has boosted the cancer care hospital, the Christie.
The Manchester and Beyond Exhibition, which ran from December 18 to early January, was hosted by the Art with a Heart initiative.
It was one of six exhibitions held by Art with a Heart over a four month period when it was based in Trafford Council premises on Shaws Road.
The Manchester and Beyond Exhibition was the inaugural showing of work by photographers, Justin Garner, from Sale and Altrincham-based Jack Henriques.
More than 50 photographs were sold during the show, raising £2010 for the Christie. Kathryn Sexton from the Christie (fourth from left) is pictured collecting the cheque.
