BRITAIN’S Got Talent is coming to Sale next month, but with a charitable twist.
In aid of Help for Heroes, The Slug and Lettuce is hosting ‘Slug’s Got Talent’ – a ‘bandeoke’ night in which participants can have a go at singing along to a live rock band, in return for a donation to the injured servicemen and women’s charity.
The event will take place at the School Road venue on March 8 and is open to all, from aspiring artists to complete karaoke novices.
Emily Savage, general manager at The Slug and Lettuce, Sale, said: “It’s going to be a brilliant night, where people can either join in and show off their talents, or come along and soak up the atmosphere, all for a good cause.
“But whatever the level of talent, it’s sure to be a fun evening. We’re also hosting a charity raffle, where the winner gets a bottle of champagne. ”
For one month each year, the national chain chooses a charity to raise money for, raising £21,000 in aid of Help for Heroes last year.
