TRAFFIC UPDATE: Long delays across Trafford

SNOW and icy conditions caused traffic chaos during rush hour in Trafford this morning.
Long queues have developed across the borough, with drivers experiencing delays of more than an hour in many cases.
More snow fall is predicted later in the day, so drivers are advised to avoid long journeys where possible.
No schools have announced closures at present.
