Help to save Trafford's woodlands
8:50am Sunday 3rd February 2013 in News
VOLUNTEERS are wanted to protect the future of Trafford’s woodlands through a number of activities and projects.
The Forestry Commission has spaces available for people to get involved with the preservation of the borough’s community woodlands.
Initiatives being run by the commission include planting trees, cutting back vegetation, clearing paths as well as project work such as helping out with events, wildlife surveys and conservation.
To become a woodland volunteer or if you have an idea for a project or species survey contact the Forestry Commission on 01606 882167.
