Royal Mail says sorry over no snow post

ROYAL MAIL has issued an apology to Hale and Altrincham residents after snow in the area saw some homes fail to receive their post last month.

A spokesperson for Royal Mail said: “We apologise to customers who experienced delays to their deliveries in the Altrincham and Hale areas area as a result of severe winter weather conditions.

“A range of measures were put in place to ensure deliveries reached people as quickly as possible. We did our utmost to ensure continued deliveries but it was not possible to do so everywhere because of the weather.”

What a lot of cissies at the Royal Mail. Just a light covering of snow and they stop work and no doubt claim a day's pay. Thank God other workers carried on. Oh I forgot, it is 'elf n safety. Mustn't let the postman fall over must we?
