BRITISH Red Cross is offering a last chance for people to get involved with them in this year’s Greater Manchester Marathon.
Team Red Cross is looking to exceed its achievements from last year, where 50 runners collectively raised more than £15,000 for the charity.
One previous Red Cross runner said: “What an amazing experience from start to finish! It was such a welcoming, fantastic and heart warming atmosphere.”
BRC added that by running for them, you will be helping people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are.
Participants will receive support including training plans and nutritional advice, a fundraising pack to help you reach your sponsorship target and professional one-to-one help.
The race, which returned after a 10 year absence in 2012, is said to have one of the flattest courses in the world, making it ideal for first time runners.
