Altrincham's Barrington Road plan approved but developers must pay up

COUNCILLORS have refused to waive planning related contributions due for a development on Barrington Road, in Altrincham.
The scheme is to convert a three-storey building on Barrington Road, Altrincham from office to residential.
Developer contributions for tree planting, play areas and sports equipment amounting to £15,000 are due.
The planning committee turned down a request for this to be waived.
The application has been approved subject to a legal agreement.
