STAR Wars will be taking over Manchester for five months, as part of a new attraction at the Trafford Centre.
Familiar landscapes from Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace – including the rolling hills of Naboo and the desert planet of Tattooine – have be recreated at the Manchester Legoland Discovery Centre using more than 250,000 Lego bricks.
The display is home to 2,000 LegoStar Wars minitures, and took 2,000 man hours to create.
The new Star Wars Miniland is the first outside of London, and the pop-up walk-through display features built-in games alongside the sights and sounds of the film franchise.
The attraction will be 10am to 7pm open seven days a week from February 1 until June 2.
