POLICE were called to three separate burglaries in the Stretford area at the end of last week.
The first incident took place at a house on Chester Road, Stretford, between 2.30pm and 4.50pm on January 17.
The offenders forced entry and stole a laptop from inside.
The next day between 5.30pm and 7.30pm, burglars forced entry to a house on Woodstock Road, Stretford, through insecure rear door, also damaging an internal door that was locked.
However, the offenders were disturbed by the occupant and nothing was stolen.
On January 19, burglars forced a window to gain entry to a house on Kings Road, Old Trafford, at around 3am
A laptop, iPhone, wallet and cash were stolen from within.
A spokesman for Stretford Police said enquiries are ongoing in all three cases.
The spokesman added: “Overall burglary is down in the area, however, there is a current spike at the moment.
“Please check your security, ensure nothing is easy accessible through windows and doors and keep everything locked.”
