SCOTTISH-based tanning salon chain, Indigo Sun, is the latest tenant to take premises at the Eden Square shopping centre development in Urmston.
Urmston business Lily’s is also set to open a cafe bar in the Square.
Indigo Sun, which opened its first premises in Stirling in 1993, currently operates 37 salons, only four of which are based in England in Nottinghamshire, Milton Keynes, Northamptonshire and North Shields.
Urmston-based independent business, Lily’s, which already operates two shops in the town – Lily’s Coffee Lounge on Flixton Road, and Lily’s Boutique on Crofts Bank Road – will expand by taking a unit for cafe bar, Lily’s at Eden.
Fit out work on the 1,500 sq ft tanning salon will begin in February, with the store expected to open in late March, creating six new jobs.
Lily’s is expected to open in April. There are also six full time and part time positions available, to be advertised in store and at the job centre from the end of January.
