Trafford snow - latest

SNOW has arrived in Trafford.


At present the weather does not appear to be as severe as in other parts of the country, with no school closures according to a Trafford Council spokesman.


However, the Met Office has issued a weather warning, stating that heavy snow and strong winds are expected across Greater Manchester.


Residents are urged to avoid non-essential journeys.
