Timperley collision - rush hour update

A COLLISION on Shaftesbury Ave caused motoring chaos this morning in Timperley.

A large stretch of the road had to be closed between 6.30am and 10.30am between Thorley Lane and Aimson Road East, forcing motorists to find alternative routes to their destinations.

Drivers were advised to do what they could to avoid travelling along the road if possible, and allow extra time for their journey.

It has been confirmed that three vehicles were involved, including a bus, a blue Citroen C5 and a black Jaguar XF.
