Keep an eye out for birds in your garden

WILDLIFE lovers are being asked to take part in the RSPB’s annual Big Garden Birdwatch over the weekend of January 26 and 27.

Participants are being asked to spend one hour at any time over the weekend noting down the highest number of each bird species they see at any one time.”

Participants can register for the event at www.rspb.org.uk/birdwatch and have three weeks afterwards to submit their data.

Wildlife Explorers are also expected to be on hand in West Park, Macclesfield on the Sunday, between 10.30am amd 12.30pm, to help provide visitors tips on identifying birds.
