Collision causes traffic chaos in Timperley

A COLLISION on Shaftesbury Avenue has caused motoring chaos this morning in Timperley.
A large stretch of Shaftesbury Avenue, between Aimson Road and Thorley Lane, has been closed, forcing motorists to find alternative routes to their destinations.
Drivers should do what they can to avoid travelling along the road if possible, and should allow extra time for their journey.
Details of the incident are sketchy, but it is thought that three vehicles, including a bus, a Citroen C5 and a Jaguar XF were involved.
It is possible that one of the drivers may have left the scene.
