BAFTA award winning actor goes back to school

ALL Saints Catholic Primary School Choir in Sale thought all their wishes had come true when the BAFTA award winning TV actor Ceallach Spellman made a surprise visit to their performance at the 2012 Full Irish Radio Concert and live broadcast.

The 17 year old actor, a former pupil at the school, was besieged by the singers and the audience at the event at St Bede's College in Manchester.

All Saints teacher Gaynor Gerrard commented: "The students in the choir and all the parents who had come along to the event had a wonderful time. They really enjoyed the surprise visit from Ceallach and could not believe that they managed to share the same stage as the famous actor."

The actor and former pupil at the College has just received the 2012 Children's BAFTA Award for Entertainment for presenting CBBC's Friday download.
