Marie Curie Cancer Care appeals for chairman and appeal co-ordinator

MARIE Curie Cancer Care’s fundraising group in Urmston is on the lookout for new members.

The group has vacant roles, including the chairman role which involves attending and chairing meetings every four to six weeks.

It also requires one or two appeal co-ordinators to look after the Great Daffodil Appeal in March – full training will be given.

Anne-Marie Wynne, community fundraiser for the charity said: "We are looking for individuals who are organised with great communication skills to join our Urmston fundraising group. The fundraising group raises money to support the Marie Curie Nursing Service to provide care to people terminally ill with cancer and other illnesses."

If you can spare a few hours every few weeks and would like to get involved with the fundraising group, contact Anne-Marie Wynne on 0161 255 2809 or email anne-marie.wynne@mariecurie.org.uk.
