Sunday opening to continue at Altrincham's Traders Outlet and No 16 The Downs
2:47pm Thursday 3rd January 2013 in News
THE Altrincham branch of Traders Outlet - home to a vintage and craft showroom, No16 The Downs - is to remain open on Sundays.
The initiative proved a great success when it was introduced over the festive period.
Owner Mathew Wray said: "Having looked at the increasing footfall and till sales within the store we’re excited to announce that, in line with customer demand, we will be a seven-day-a-week trading destination.’ The store is open from 11am to 4 pm on Sundays - in addition to 10am to 5pm Monday to Saturday - giving shoppers more opportunities to check out the town’s latest new independent businesses.
Mathew added: ‘Thanks to the momentum created over the past month with tailored shopping events such as December’s successful Little Black Dress evening and Christmas Shopping Afternoon Tea, we felt the time was right.
‘Alongside our Decopatch Den cafe, new concessions and with the backing of our regular press promotion, we’re confident we can become a regular Sunday shopping and eating destination in the town.
"With everything from handmade wooden toys, to jewellery to vintage clothing, homewares and one-off pieces of art, the store is crammed with really unique, one-off ideas that mean you’re sure to find something for even those hard-to-buy for friends and family."
