THERE are around 20,000 people in Trafford living with heart and circulatory disease and it is responsible for the deaths of more than one in four men and women, says the British Heart Foundation (BHF) BHF is urging people in the borough to get involved with Rock Up In Red on the February 1, National Heart Month, to help raise vital funds for those living with heart and circulatory disease.

Chrish Perera, head of volunteering fundraising in the North West, said: “We are calling on the people of the North West to put on their best red items on February 1 and encourage their colleagues, friends and family to do the same and help support the nation’s heart charity by getting involved and raising money. It is easy to organise a Rock Up In Red event and fun for everyone involved.”
