ROBBERS stole money and cigarettes when they burst into a shop in Urmston.
At 9.50pm on Monday May 19 three men armed with baseball bats and crow bars went into the Co-op store on Irlam Road, just as it was about to close for the night.
The robbers threatened staff and forced the tills open so they could steal cash and cigarettes.
The offenders then drove off in a dark car, believed to be a Vauxhall Astra.
Detective Constable Jonathan Lloyd, of Trafford CID said: "Nobody was injured in this attack, but it left staff extremely shaken. They were terrified and they did not know what was going to happen next.
"I'd appeal to anybody who has any information about the car, or who is responsible, to call us."
Anyone with information should call Trafford CID on 0161 856 7674 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
