Personal Overview - From a legal background where his main area of expertise is Commercial Property and including Social Housing, PFI (Private Finance Initiative) and Development Law. Political experience includes having been the election agent for the Liverpool City seats initiative at the 2005 General Election, where candidates for all the constituencies within the City as a whole were selected as a team and allocated to constituencies later on. His political interests are likely to include favouring tax breaks and reducing regulation on business and enterprise. He has also shown interest in Social Housing and rural issues.

Has an academic background as a lecturer in the Merseyside area. Politically, he has achieved relatively rapid promotion within the party in recent years, becoming Party Chairman in 2008. In terms of European politics, he has gained experience through his work for John Whittaker MEP, he has also acted as a political consultant to Godfrey Bloom MEP and has been Editor of the Bulletin from Brussels Magazine.
