WOULD you like to hear your piece of music or poem performed in front of a live audience?

If the answer to this question is yes, the organiser of this year's Trafford Young Composer of the Year Competition would like to hear from you.

There are two categories - for the under 12s and 12-18 year olds - and entrants must be in this age group on September 1 this year. Entry forms are available from The Secretary, Stage One, 16 Crossfield Road, Hale, Altrincham, Cheshire, WA15 8DU or call 0161 980 5150.

The closing date for entries is May 1 and the Grand Final Concert is at the Cresta Court Hotel in Altrincham in July.
