American rock band My Chemical Romance have shared a previously unheard track that will feature on the reissue of their 2006 album The Black Parade.

The Black Parade/Living With Ghosts will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the album’s release on September 23 and will feature rough mix The Five Of Us Are Dying on the bonus disc.

The track list for the bonus record has been released and includes 11 tracks of live demos and rough mixes.

The band excited fans around the world earlier this month with the prospect of a potential reunion, but later confirmed that the only thing in the works was the anniversary re-release.

A teaser trailer had fuelled fans’ hopes of a new album or a reunion tour.

The band, famous for hits such as I’m Not Okay (I Promise) and Helena, posted the 34-second long video on social media.

Set to the background music of another of their popular songs, Welcome To The Black Parade, the band’s logo is shown on a billowing flag, with the date 9/23/16 appearing on screen at the end of the clip.

Front man Gerard Way, 39, announced the band’s split in 2013, saying in a statement: “Being in this band for the past 12 years has been a true blessing. We’ve gotten to go places we never knew we would.

“We’ve been able to see and experience things we never imagined possible. We’ve shared the stage with people we admire, people we look up to, and best of all, our friends.

“And now, like all great things, it has come time for it to end. Thanks for all of your support, and for being part of the adventure.”
