Simon Cowell has warned The X Factor contestants that there is going to be a big twist this weekend – a double elimination.
The judge is seen spilling the beans to the singers in a video released by ITV, warning them that the Halloween show will shake things up a bit.
According to The X Factor website, he called a meeting and told the remaining hopefuls that they needed a “wake up call”, so one wannabe will be given their marching orders on Saturday and another will be cut on Sunday.
He said: “There’s going to be another double elimination again this weekend, and the difference is this week is there is going to be a twist. And the twist is, on the Saturday, the person with the lowest vote is going to leave the show. No Sing Off, just whoever is in the bottom is out.
“And there’s a Sing Off on Sunday. So there are no second chances. This is how important the conversation is now and how important the performance is on Saturday and Sunday. We decided to do this because I think you all need a bit of a wake up call,” the music mogul added.
Earlier this week, Simon’s fellow judge Mel B also hinted that the Fright Night instalment would be a bit different.
