Klein: People think I'm Keanu!

Chris Klein has revealed that people often get him confused with Keanu Reeves.

The US actor, who reprises his role as Chris 'Oz' Ostreicher in American Pie: Reunion, admitted that they get disappointed when they realise that he's not the Matrix superstar.

"I get mistaken for Keanu Reeves - a lot. And I can't tell you how much more excited they are when they think I'm Keanu Reeves than when they think I'm Oz from American Pie," he said.

Chris said jumping back into the character, who is now a famous sports presenter, was very easy and that he didn't need to base him on anyone he knew.

"This is comedy. This is not high drama. There's not a whole lotta need for a lot of back story," he continued.

"He's a sports broadcaster in Los Angeles, California, and dating a hot model. You don't have to get too deep. These are American Pie films. The idea really is to have fun and make it big, which I have a lot of fun doing, and celebrate this franchise and the brand of our comedy."

Jason Biggs, Mena Suvari, Tara Reid, Alyson Hannigan and Eugene Levy all return for American Pie: Reunion, which opens in cinemas on May 2.
