WITH the UK charts littered with female solo artists it is easy to be sceptical about yet another supposed teenage sensation.
Any negative preconceptions were flouted when the talent of the 19-year-old behind this debut album was heard. Written by Adele herself, the music sounds like a cross between Amy Winehouse and Kate Nash, but with an added fresh kick.
Her latest single from the album, Chasing Pavements does stand out from rest of the songs on the album, but the majority nevertheless have chart topping potential.
The deep, yet naively written lyrics give an insight into a teenager's rollercoster feelings of love, loss and reliving memories.
Ideal for winding down and chilling out to after a really busy day, the artist's potential is guaranteed to be competition for her rivals over the coming months.
