THE Lady boys of Bangkok are back in town with their remarkable new cabaret show Who Rules the World?

The answer is not Donald Trump but a group of alluring young ‘ladies’ who are all male but illustrate that women are in charge.

Four of them remain male and still dance their socks off. In All That Jazz they lift a ladyboy above their heads. Later they dance You can Leave your Hat On almost as sensually as their ‘sisters’.

Wearing 450 designer-inspired costumes and trade mark feathers, the Ladyboys dance seductively throughout the show. The lighting is so bewitching it seems to dance with them.

Their dance routines are ostentatious and glitzy as, flashing their shapely legs, they pay tribute to stars such as Beyonce, Rhianna, Nikki Minage, Boy George, Tom Jones and Queen Latifah.

One thing is sure, the Ladyboys are more ladies than boys. Some male members of the audience are obviously seduced by them and for one poor man from the audience, it was done on stage when he was blindfolded and tied to a chair.

The end of the first act finishes with extracts from the Lion King and the second act starts with Grease.

Because it is Manchester, the show concludes with It’s Raining Men.
