Gaslight to begin a six-day run at Altrincham Garrick
THE next play at the Altrincham Garrick Playhouse, Gaslight, is set in the terrifying darkness of the late afternoon.
It is the zero hour before the feeble dawn of gaslight and tea.
Bella Manningham is convinced she is losing her mind as her mother did before her. As the gaslights dim, she desperately tries to keep her sanity.
With her mental health deteriorating and the strange behaviour of her husband, Jack, the arrival of a retired police detective provides Bella with some answers in Patrick Hamilton‘s dark Victorian thriller.
