WORLD renowned Cirque du Soleil is bringing its legendary Big Top to intu Trafford Centre.

Following record-breaking success at the Royal Albert Hall, Cirque du Soleil is bringing its Amaluna show to Trafford for four weeks this September.

It will be the first time in six years the company, known for its breath-taking detail, awe-inspiring aerial acrobats and signature stunts, will be performing in Manchester.

Amaluna, Cirque du Soleil’s most successful UK show, is a tale of castaway romance and the obstacles that true love presents, and has been described by The Times as ‘thrillingly executed’.

The talents cast is predominantly female, with an all-female band. The show is written and directed by Tony Award-winning director, Diane Paulus, and is Cirque Du Soleil’s 33rd production.

“Amaluna is a tribute to the work and voice of women,” said Fernand Rainville, the show’s director of creation.

“The show is a reflection on balance from a woman’s perspective.”

The iconic Big Top circus tent will be at the Trafford Centre from September 7 to October 2.
