Staff at Ian Macklin is celebrating, following the opening of the Company's third office.

Ian Macklin said: "We are delighted to announce the opening of our office in Timperley providing a service to clients throughout the village and adjoining areas. The reaction has been extremely positive and encouraging with several instructions received and sales agreed."

Discussing the market in general Ian added: "Since approximately October 2007 the residential property market has encountered considerable difficulties. This followed the major banking crisis, which resulted in a severe restriction of available funds with which to finance transactions.

“Consequently the number of sales decreased dramatically and there was also a reduction in value. However more recently there are indications of return of demand suggesting a more optimistic approach in the future, again with availability of finance will be a critical factor. We have noticed an increase in number of First Time Buyers enquiring, offering and buying. I am sure this is the right time as inevitably property values will increase in the near future. Certainly we all share this optimistic view."
