NORTH West residential lettings agency Jordan’s has expanded by launching a sister company dedicated to property maintenance.

Jigsaw Property Care, serving Altrincham, has created six jobs in the region. This includes an electrician, gas and heating expert, plumber, gardener, cleaner and painter and decorator. The business also provides EPCs and general handyman services.

It works with landlords, estate agents and letting agents across the North West and is headed up by two directors, Simon and Helen Dalton.

William Jordan, managing director of Jordan’s and co-owner of Jigsaw Property Care, said: “This business complements our expertise in the lettings sector enabling us to handle all the property needs of a landlord or tenant. It benefits from a cutting edge IT and management system meaning we can get to homes to carry out jobs quickly.

“We launched the business in response to demand from tenants and landlords. GPS technology locates trades people to ensure work is undertaken in the shortest time possible and we’re also able to invoice as soon as a job is completed so there is no delay to the landlord. Our electricians will be fully qualified and our plumbers are Gas Safe Approved. EPCs are a necessity for all landlords, so we’ll be on hand to provide these, too.”

Helen Dalton, director of Jigsaw Property Care, said: “We’re off to a busy start due to the snow and cold related problems. Issues with boilers and heating systems and frozen pipes have been common but we’ve been able to act upon these issues quickly.” Jigsaw will carry out work in properties of all sizes across Cheshire and Greater Manchester. It is accredited with the Awarding Body for the Built Environment, the Institute of Domestic Energy Assessors and the Gas Safety Register.
