BROADOAK School celebrates impressive results across a range of subjects this year.

65 per cent of pupils at Broadoak achieved English Language at A*-C, which is the second highest result in the school's history.

This bucks the declining national trend and surpasses the national average and the school are delighted with these outstanding results.

Pupils have performed superbly in many other subjects too, most notably in Science - where 63 per cent of pupils attained two Science grades at grade C or above including a 90 per cent pass rate in GCSE Science and a 100 per cent pass rate in BTEC Science.

Other successes have been achieved in Business Studies (67 per cent A*/ A), Art (73 per cent A*-C), Drama (86 per cent A*- C), Sport (96 per cent A*-C) and Construction (88 per cent A*/A).
