How to find a postcode

Help people to find your event by providing a postcode that they can use for online mapping or satellite navigation.

If you only know part of the address of the venue you're likely to be able to find a postcode for it by searching for that address with a search engine such as Google, Microsoft Live or Yahoo. Don't forget to put the address information you do have in quotation marks.

Events in fields can be accurately placed on a map by methods such as:

1. Find somewhere near the field on http://www.streetmap.co.uk.
2. Click mouse in the middle of the field in question.
3. Click on 'Click here to convert/measure coordinates' near the bottom of the screen.
4. Copy and paste into your event submission the postcode shown in the conversion table.
