RITA POST (Nee Bell, formerly Barber) Passed away on Wednesday, 29th August 2015 after a short battle with cancer. A loving mother of David and devoted grandma to Kieran, Dylan, Esmée and Elliot. Before emigrating in her retirement to Miami, USA, Rita was a very popular and respected councillor in the Brooklands Ward of Sale for 12 years. She also invested much time in work for charity, organising many large fund raising events and managing the Combined Charity Christmas Card Shop in Altrincham Library every year for many years. Service to be held at Altrincham Crematorium on Friday, 7th August at 2.00pm. Family flowers only please, donations if desired for Cancer Research UK, may be sent to Arthur Gresty Funeral Homes, MBIE LMBIFD DipFD, Greystones, 305 Manchester Rd, Altrincham, WA14 5PH.
