A TRAMPOLINE park is set to open in Broadheath this year - providing 60 new jobs.

The firm Jump Xtreme Ltd has announced plans to open the complex on a site next to B & Q, on Atlantic Street, Broadheath.

Plans are being prepared to be submitted to Trafford council which, if approved, will see the firm's third UK site opening in late 2016 hot on the heels of its Bolton location which opened in March and a new park in Tamworth, West Midlands, that’s scheduled to open this summer.

Cliff Nicholls, the founder of Jump Xtreme said “Altrincham has always been earmarked as a prime location one of our parks.

"We’ve been looking for months for an ideal location in the area and are delighted that we’ve secured what we believe to be the perfect site, in terms of size, position and accessibility. Once our plans are approved we will be recruiting for up to 60 roles offering excellent career prospects in this fast growing leisure sector.”

He added: "

“Though fun is the essence of what trampolining is all about, safety remains our first priority at Jump Xtreme. We take it very seriously and our detailed staff training regime ensures that we maintain the very highest standards.”

As well as trampolines, the park will have areas where people can play dodgeball and use basketball hoops airbag pits for stunt jumping and tumble tracks, and a coffee shop.
