MORE than 70 swimmers made a big splash for The Christie charity on Saturday (July 19) as they took part in the Great Manchester Swim.
The swimmers, who are likely to raise around £20,000 for The Christie, completed the one mile, dock-to-dock, open water swim around Salford Quays.
Sporting events officer at The Christie charity, Charlie Rowen, said; “We were delighted to have so many swimmers doing the Great Manchester Swim for our charity."
